Witchy BusinessA cozy game that doesn't overextend its welcome and with fun achievements that come very naturally along the way. Gameplay could be a little bit more varied but the loop is satisfying.6/10 💗 feels
ToemSuper fun puzzle game with lots of interesting mechanics, the bonus island content was my favourite.7/10 💗 feels
MixtapeArtsy, nostalgic, great music. The concept is simple, and I found the game to be pretty short. The gameplay works more as an immersive storytelling technique than as a game on its own, but that's what makes it special and unique.8/10 💗 feels
Love, GhostieThis is a super simple but cute cozy game full of humour and personality. I thought it was fun to discover each character's traits, though I wish we had more residents, since I was more invested in the process of discovering each personality than in simply matchmaking. Despite giving you a lot of content and options, I liked how the first run didn't overstay its welcome.6/10 💗 feels
Tactics Ogre: RebornI loved some aspects of this game, especially the variety of classes and recruitment options. In the end, though, I felt frustrated with the user experience, especially the inability to pause, quit, or even access Chariot Tarot in between computer actions. Some QoL improvements would have been much welcomed.6/10 💗 feels
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted ReflectionAs a longtime fan of monsties, playing a grown-up character who actually talks was a dream come true. I really enjoyed the new features with the habitats' dynamics and other updates, and finding eggs was fun and felt more meaningful. Even though the characters became more detailed, I wasn’t very drawn into the story, and I wish they had taken a new/fresh approach for a change.8/10 💗 feels
PentimentFor a story game, this felt very engaging and interactive. The storytelling and art were beautiful, and the historical parts made it feel like a real learning experience.8/10 💗 feels
DispatchSuper fun experience, full of wholesome character moments and that old-school superhero feel-good vibe. It doesn’t try to be super serious and insists on staying positive, no matter how messed up your choices might be.Full Review8/10 💗 feels
Replay of FFVIII (Remastered)Final Fantasy VIII Remastered delivers the ultimate nostalgic experience, whether you want to enjoy the story in a frictionless way or keep some of the original challenge intact.Replaying this after so many years, and reliving a game that defined my childhood, felt so special, especially with the ability to customize the challenge and how much time I wanted to put into it. Emily is Away <3Such a fun little game, especially since I loved the first one so much. The FB interface makes it feel much more interactive too. It runs fine on Steam Deck, though having to open the keyboard every time to send a message was a bit annoying.7/10 💗 feels
Emily is Away TooI love the nostalgic vibe in this one, just like in the first game. Still not perfect on Steam Deck, but at least you can press send without opening the keyboard. I've replayed it a few times and could do it again easily. Avoiding heartbreak feels way too real.7/10 💗 feels
Unicorn OverlordI loved this game so much! I struggled a bit to keep up with all the unit types and stay invested in every character's lore, but other than that, no complaints. It was super fun to play.9/10 💗 feels
NevaThis game was visually stunning and emotionally beautiful. Maybe I just suck at platformers, but some mechanics felt a bit frustrating.7/10 💗 feels
Monster Hunter Wilds 🏆My first Monster Hunter experience, and I loved every bit of it. Heavy bowgun and hammer were my first weapons, and learning their playstyles was such a fun challenge. Going for the Platinum was even more rewarding than I expected, and this quickly became one of my favorite series.10/10 💗 feels
Lost RecordsA lovely game with a beautiful idea and characters that I truly loved. The gameplay and execution didn’t always work for me, though. The supernatural theme wasn’t fully developed and ended up distracting from the main message, especially near the end.6/10 💗 feels
Dragon Age: The Veilguard 🏆My first Dragon Age, and it completely won me over. The story and characters were the best parts, and I really cared about them by the end. Companion quests felt meaningful, even if a few lines felt out of place. Gameplay was fun but not too difficult. Some side quests felt a bit like busywork, but the companions (especially Assan and Manfred) made up for it. Getting the Platinum was pretty easy, though a few achievements were tricky to find. Overall, a beautiful, heartfelt game with great characters and a lovely world worth exploring.8/10 💗 feels
Clair Obscur : Expedition 33A stunning game with amazing storytelling, music, and creative direction. One of my favorite soundtracks ever. The story choices and emotional impact made it feel truly special. Gameplay combined classic RPG feelings with new ideas, offering lots of ways to build characters and exciting combat. My only complaint was the dodge-and-parry system, which didn’t feel natural in a turn-based game and sometimes took attention away from other parts of the game. Even so, story mode made the combat more balanced and fun. Overall, a deeply memorable experience with a beautiful story, great characters, and an ending that fit perfectly.10/10 💗 feels
Live a Live 🏆Such a fun surprise. I went in not knowing what to expect and didn't think it would feel this fresh. The anthology-style chapters and gameplay variety were a breath of fresh air. Even going for all the achievements was enjoyable, never grindy or frustrating.8/10 💗 feels
Monster Hunter StoriesMuch cozier and more fun than I expected! I just wish my character could talk instead of the cat doing all the talking (!) Some parts felt inconsistent, like flying only working in certain places, and cooking meat one piece at a time got boring quickly. The art style grew on me, though I wish quest levels were easier to understand, especially after the main game. Overall, it's a charming and addictive game with great egg-finding and hatching features, and it actually made me love the world of Monster Hunter even more!7/10 💗 feels
Triangle StrategyReally enjoyed this overall. The story and characters were great, and the choices and consequences kept me fully engaged. I just wish the dialogue sections were a little shorter. Normal mode was challenging and sometimes felt unbalanced, but it stayed fun… until that final battle (Frederica ending).7/10 💗 feels
Doki Doki Literature Club 🏆I went in as blind as possible, though I knew it would take a darker turn, so it didn't hit me as hard as I expected. I was hoping for a bit more from the dialogue, especially with such heavy themes. The side stories were interesting and added more depth to each character. Getting the Platinum made me appreciate the concept, structure, and creative approach behind it even more.7/10 💗 feels
Monster Hunter Stories 2A great follow-up with big improvements in gameplay and quality of life. Every weapon feels useful now, and the buddy system adds fun new party dynamics. Earning money and farming bottlecaps is much easier, and everdens were a nice addition. The maps look better and fast travel between catavans is a huge time saver. The main story battles felt easier, maybe thanks to the buddy system, but levelling up wasn't as rewarding since random fights gave little exp. Co-op mode was a nice touch for farming nests with friends. Even if the story didn't grab me as much and the egg mechanics felt familiar, I still had a great time.8/10 💗 feels
Hades IIHades II captures the addictive loop that made the first game so fun. The combat feels just as fluid and rewarding, with new mechanics and surprises keeping each run fresh. Very accessible, with plenty of options to customize the difficulty and adjust how challenging each run feels. I loved Melinoë, and she makes a strong case for her mission. However, the story's tone lacks the spark that made the original feel special. Full Review10/10 💗 feels
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of AshesThis was my first Dark Pictures Anthology game, and I had a lot of fun playing it in shared story mode (co-op). Switching between different characters at random, while the other player also controlled their own set of characters, meant you were never fully sure you could trust their decisions. It kept things unpredictable and interesting throughout. The pacing also worked well for me; the game was the right length and didn't overstay its welcome.Full Review7/10 💗 feels
The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in MeThis was my second Dark Pictures Anthology game after House of Ashes, and the overall vibe was much creepier and more unsettling. I appreciated some of the improvements, though it also felt like a few steps backward in other areas. Full Review6/10 💗 feels
Tavern TalkCompared to Coffee Talk, I actually preferred the mechanics here, but it can get repetitive after a while. It would be the perfect cozy visual novel if it was not for the pacing (very yappy indeed!). Full Review7.5/10 💗 feels
Banishers: Ghosts of New EdenLots of mixed feelings! I really enjoyed the story and the whole ambition behind the format, but the gameplay let me down in a way that completely broke the flow and immersion, and made the experience drag. Full Review6/10 💗 feels
Is This Seat Taken? 🏆The only flaw of this game is that it wasn't long enough. It reminded me how much I missed simplicity, that feeling of switching off and getting lost in a cozy puzzle. And such a creative core concept! Not maddeningly challenging but so fun.8/10 💗 feels
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch RemasteredNi no Kuni was a mixed experience. Beautiful world, cute vibes, lovely animations and music, but the mechanics were so frustrating that they dragged the whole thing down. Especially for a remaster, it was disappointing not to have more quality of life improvements. Full Review6/10 💗 feels
Instants 🏆The ultimate little cozy experience, with cute details, and perfect for having on in the background while listening to an audiobook. It lets you be creative and spend countless hours decorating albums, but the puzzle and challenge element was underwhelming.7/10 💗 feels
